Sh. Sumesh Chandra founded Chanderpur Group in 1962 with the successful establishment of the parent company ‘Chanderpur Works Pvt. Ltd’. He started this company as a fabrication unit and later on, he took this company to new heights by adding a new business sphere of machinery manufacturing for paper industries. There have been many developments during his career that brought revolution to the group. Few of them are Rotary Spherical Digesters and Rice Husk Fired Boilers.
Throughout his life, he has been concerned about the company’s labourers; their family and betterment of their lives. For the social welfare, he established a charitable eye hospital in 1972. His motive behind this establishment: “In his city, none should suffer eye related health problems due to financial limitations.”
Mr. Sunil Chandra is a third generation entrepreneur and founder of the company’s Cement Division. He serves as the Chairman of Christian Pfeiffer India and MD of Chanderpur Industries Private Limited. Under his wide experience of 35 years in Project Execution and Sales, CPG feels proud to have a leader and visionary guiding us through our journey of becoming a Global Player in the field of Process Plant Manufacturing and Engineering.
Mr. Sunil has successfully led the company through some of its most challenging times and enabled it to emerge stronger. His broad global perspective has seen the company expanding its horizons beyond domestic frontiers, positioning itself to become a true international player.
Mr. Sudhir Chandra has successfully led the company to be a landmark in the field of heavy equipment manufacturing. A technocrat having a Mechanical Engineering Degree from NIT Kurukshetra and Post Graduate in Cement Technology, he is the Managing Director of Chanderpur Works Pvt. Ltd. and looks after the Administrations, Finance and Manufacturing departments. His love for academics has led us to be way ahead in Fabrication Technology and Managing Taxations, Company Laws most effectively
With his strength and vision, the company had started the Renewable Energy division (Biomass Gasifiers) in the year 1999 which is now our most hot selling product in Europe and other developed countries.
Mr. Nikhil Chandra, elder son of Mr. Sunil Chandra, is currently playing the role of Director of Chanderpur India Pvt. Ltd. A s well as Managing Director of Christian Pfeiffer India Pvt. Ltd. His passion towards work and vision to make a strong Professional Engineering Company has helped us collaborate with International Technology Partners and implementation of the Oracle ERP system.
Mr. Chaitanya Chandra, younger son of Mr. Sunil Chandra, is focusing on the various areas, adding value to the existing Business and New Technology Collaborations. He is leading the company for undertaking the “U Stamp” Certification and other necessary registrations required to upgrade the skills & market acceptability
Mr. Shitij Chandra, elder son of Mr. Sudhir Chandra, is serving as the Director of Chanderpur Industries. In the footsteps of his father, he is determined to take the Renewable Energy division to new heights. He is currently involved in the marketing of Biomass Gasifiers and Administration of Chanderpur Industries Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Akshay Chandra, the younger son of Mr. Sudhir Chandra, serves as the Director. He is a dynamic leader committed to driving innovation, efficiency, and technological advancement in the manufacturing sector. Mr. Chandra holds a Master of Science (MS) in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. His global academic exposure, combined with a strong engineering foundation, equips him with a unique perspective to blend traditional manufacturing excellence with cutting-edge industrial practices.
With a deep passion for CNC machines and emerging manufacturing technologies, he has been a key force in modernizing the company’s production facilities. His keen interest in automation, precision machining, and smart manufacturing tools reflects his vision of building a future-ready manufacturing ecosystem. One of his notable contributions includes spearheading the implementation of the Oracle ERP system across the organization, streamlining processes, and ensuring data-driven decision-making.
By integrating advanced technology and operational efficiency, he is leading Chanderpur Group towards global competitiveness and sustainable growth.
