CPG is highly concerned about environment and its workshops already come under white category having no water pollution, air pollution.
Now it maintains Zero solid waste with three factories under it and in one of them, CPG have 1 MW power plant based on gasification system. This unit is now being converted to use refused derived fuel (RDF) extracted from Municipal solid waste (MSW). This plant uses all solid waste generated in CPW workshops.
Its shops are having lot of plantations to preserve environment, so lot of leaves, branches are collected from its premises plus the old plastic material such as buckets etc.
These all material after collection are sorted in shops. All the material which is re-usable and can be sellable in the scrap market is sold. Rest all the material sent to gasification plant.
In 1MW gasification power plant, this material is shredded along with other material collected from nearby town & villages and fed into gasifier, where this material is converted into Producer gas/ Syngas, which is fed into engine and converted into power.
CPG is manufacturer of municipal solid waste gasifier system, having capacity 40Kg/Hr to 1200 Kg/Hr and can supply such type of plant up to 100 TPD. This is an excellent technology for industries, hotels, small towns, and villages.
CPG are also manufacturers of Bio-methanation plant for kitchen waste and material, containing moisture and such plants are manufactured in collaboration with "The Energy and Resources Institute" (TERI).
Additionally, the company supplied 500 KWH waste to energy-based Gasification plant in Slovakia, Europe. In this plant also the RDF is used as fuel, through which 500 KWH power is generated and is running satisfactorily from last 2 years.
