We offer turnkey solutions for fertilizer projects by offering the complete line of fertilizer plants. We supply fertilizer plants to manufacture fertilizer in both the powder form and granulated form. The range includes :

SSP Fertilizer Plant





Process of SSP (Single Super Phosphate Fertilizer) Production :
Single super phosphate fertilizer is made of two important raw materials viz. rock phosphate and sulphuric acid. The main sections involved in the production of SSP consist of :
  • Storage and pulverizing rock phosphate
  • Storage and processing sulphuric acid
  • Acidulation and curing
  • Scrubbing of gases
  • Converting powder to granules
  • Packing and storage

Rock Phosphate Handling / Pulverizing :
For unloading of rock phosphate, front end loader or electric overhead traveling cranes are used. Further, these machines are used for feeding raw rock to grinding mills (either ball mills or roller mills), which are closed circuit pneumatic mills. These mills are used to pulverize the rock and transfer it to the storage bins.

Sulphuric Acid Storage and Processing :
Sulphuric acid is stored in plant storage tanks, which is unloaded in pumps. From these tanks, concentrated acid is pumped to dilution unit through rotameter. Graphite coolers are used are coolers in the dilution process. Afterwards, dilute acid is being taken for acidulation. We also offer the system that use concentrated acid of 98.5 % strength directly in the process

Acidulation and Curing :
Mixer is then used to mix pulverized rock phosphate and dilute sulphuric acid thoroughly to initiate the reaction. Mixed slurry is then discharged in a den. Afterwards, gases evolved due to reaction are absorbed by scrubbing section. The process area is thus kept free of obnoxious gases. After a period of 14 to 21 days, super phosphate is then taken for granulation or packing.

Scrubbing Section :
Scrubbing Section consist of ventury or spray towers with gas ducting, blower, circulating liquor pumps, piping, stack etc. It absorb obnoxious gases. For example, fluorine gas is absorbed in water or dilute H2Si F6 solution. This liquor can be used to make some value added products like Sodium Silicone Fluoride.

Packaging :
Packing of final product is done by automatic weighing and stitching machines with minimum manpower requirement.


Process of Manufacturing NPK
Raw materials required to produce NPK are rock phosphate, potash, urea and coating agent. Phosphates, potash and urea are fed to mixer in measured quantities. Mixed material is then fed to granulator, where coating agents are added.

The granulator discharge is then dried in the dryer. The dryer discharge is then fed to cooler. Dried and cooled NPK is then fed to storage hopper. Finally, packing is done using automated machines.
